A herbarium sheet translated into lacquer manner. White and ochre on black, no third color.

Ornament was never decoration — it is the language once spoken by shawls, towels and window frames. The series gathers it from Pavlovo Posad roses to cross-stitch and hangs it on the wall without the object it used to live on.
