Apple Orchard

The branches run across the whole surface with no center — the pattern could continue in any direction. The fruit is built in relief and cast in resin.

Ornament was never decoration — it is the language once spoken by shawls, towels and window frames. The series gathers it from Pavlovo Posad roses to cross-stitch and hangs it on the wall without the object it used to live on.
