Every work is built in layers. The base is canvas, wood or composite; the image comes next — sometimes a print or silkscreen that sets the drawing, sometimes the brush alone. Then the craft begins: ground and relief paste, hand painting, an incised line, metal leaf, a resin pour.

The resin holds the depth: light enters it and returns with a delay, so the work changes through the day. Leaf is laid by hand, unevenly, with micro-chips — a metal that ages together with the work.

No two copies are the same. Brush marks, an uneven edge and craquelure are properties of handwork, not flaws. The principal layers of each work are stated in its certificate.
