Cathedral Complex

Work executed in relief hand painting technique using gold leaf. The architectural ensemble conveys a sense of monumentality and historical depth, bringing an atmosphere of calm and cultural heritage to the interior.

The Russian church is taken apart into simple solids: rectangle, arch, onion dome, cross. Some works rest on a single blue line, others are built up in full colour and gold leaf — between them lies the whole road from sketch to building.
