Multi-Domed. Cutout

The work is trimmed to the building's silhouette — there is no background at all. Each dome carries its own pattern, as at St. Basil's Cathedral.

The Russian church is taken apart into simple solids: rectangle, arch, onion dome, cross. Some works rest on a single blue line, others are built up in full colour and gold leaf — between them lies the whole road from sketch to building.
