Coil

The coil is built so that no beginning or end can be found. The colors are laid in bands, with gold leaf between them.

The snake coils into a ring with no beginning — a sign older than any culture it appears in. Here it runs over blue, over birch bark and over a dotted field, and gold lands only on the curves.
