Cathedral Bell Tower

The work is executed in relief technique with detailed rendering of architectural elements. The use of gold leaf and hand painting gives the image volume and depth, creating the effect of a historic fresco. The composition emphasizes the spiritual symbol, becoming a central element in an interior and bringing an atmosphere of contemplation.

The Russian church is taken apart into simple solids: rectangle, arch, onion dome, cross. Some works rest on a single blue line, others are built up in full colour and gold leaf — between them lies the whole road from sketch to building.
