Blue Temple. Sun

The circles occupy the place of both windows and sun at once. The lines are drawn in white over blue, with a fine brush.

The Russian church is taken apart into simple solids: rectangle, arch, onion dome, cross. Some works rest on a single blue line, others are built up in full colour and gold leaf — between them lies the whole road from sketch to building.
