Golden Domes

The domes are rendered in gold leaf — the only element in the work that plays with light. The façade is built in relief over several passes.

The Russian church is taken apart into simple solids: rectangle, arch, onion dome, cross. Some works rest on a single blue line, others are built up in full colour and gold leaf — between them lies the whole road from sketch to building.
