Red Flowers

The panel is composed of ceramic tiles with hand painting and gold leaf. The composition imitates historic faience art, bringing a shade of historical aesthetic to the interior.

Each flower is set down in a single stroke, the vase built up in relief. Two layers of resin give a depth that flat paint cannot. Some works are carried through to pure pattern, others left painterly.
