Flora and Bird

The composition unites bright flora elements and animalistic details. Hand painting on ceramic is complemented by gold leaf, creating an effect of antiquity and luxury. The panel draws attention on the wall, bringing dynamism to the space and references to traditional patterns.

Each flower is set down in a single stroke, the vase built up in relief. Two layers of resin give a depth that flat paint cannot. Some works are carried through to pure pattern, others left painterly.
