Ring. Pale

The palette is reduced to grey-green, the ring left as a pale patch. The figures at the center are built in two or three strokes.

The ring seen from above: the crowd runs off the edge, light gathers in the centre, the canvas is left clean like a screen. In one work the ring is framed with roses, in another a fighter lies down: here the bout has always already happened.
