Small Churchyard

A churchyard is always a pair — a summer church and a bell tower beside it. The format is small, the materials the same: board, pigment, gold leaf, resin.

A church built without a single nail, taken apart into what it is made of: aspen scales of the domes, tier upon tier, the plan on a sheet. Dark wood, red and birch bark — the palette of the North, where everything is made by hand.
