Dome and Crosses

The scheme is reduced to a drawing: symmetry, circles, crosses. The ground is ochre, without texture.

The Russian church is taken apart into simple solids: rectangle, arch, onion dome, cross. Some works rest on a single blue line, others are built up in full colour and gold leaf — between them lies the whole road from sketch to building.
