Gzhel Art

The work is inspired by traditional Gzhel hand painting, reinterpreted in a contemporary manner. A glossy resin surface and dynamic lines create a volumetric image, adding expressiveness to the space.

Gzhel without the crockery — the brushstroke itself, blue on white, taken to wall size. Relief gives the stroke volume, paint gives the blue its depth; four works, each a single pattern.
