Cathedral at Dusk

Each dome carries its own pattern, as they are built in fact. The lamp below gives the only warm light.

The city is taken at the hour when the lamps are already lit and the sky still holds light: Kremlin towers and Stalin-era high-rises show through translucent layers. Moscow here is not a postcard but a weather — dense, dark, dotted with windows.
