Tower Block

The tower was painted at night: light only in the windows and at the entrances below. The dark ground is built in layers, so the silhouette does not sink.

The city is taken at the hour when the lamps are already lit and the sky still holds light: Kremlin towers and Stalin-era high-rises show through translucent layers. Moscow here is not a postcard but a weather — dense, dark, dotted with windows.
