Roses in a Vase

The work is executed in hand painting technique on the surface. Gold leaf emphasizes details and adds contrast. The panel can serve as a bright accent in the interior, especially in contemporary spaces.

Each flower is set down in a single stroke, the vase built up in relief. Two layers of resin give a depth that flat paint cannot. Some works are carried through to pure pattern, others left painterly.
