The largest circle in the series. The gold ground is rendered in gold leaf, with fine sgraffito worked over the contours of the robes.

Three figures bent over one cup, inside a circle that has no place of honour. From Rublev's detail down to three spots and a vertical — the series tests how much can be removed before the image is gone.
