Work from the series “Symbols of the Russian Federation” conveys the atmosphere of typical urban construction. The prefab block is the country's most common architecture, and here its facade is taken as ornament: windows, balconies, seams between slabs. The relief is assembled from modules, gold leaf falls on the windows like evening light — an urban series without nostalgia.
