Rider

Relief work inspired by Japanese mythology, executed with multilayer hand painting and gold leaf. The combination of glossy resin and matte elements creates a play of textures that gives depth to the image and makes a striking impression in an interior.

One subject lived through dozens of ways: rider, spear, serpent — each time in a different matter, from red ground to blue tile. A series about an image that survives any reworking and stays recognisable from across the room.
