Hero and House

Relief panel with a scene from a folk epic, executed in a technique of volumetric brushstroke. Multi‑layered texture and gold leaf create an effect of movement and shine, bringing the spirit of old Russia into the interior.

The textbook painting is scattered into cells and reassembled: Vasnetsov from afar, mosaic up close. Beside them ride horsemen in Bilibin's manner, shield and red horse — two ways to tell the same epic.
