Three. Grid

The grid is coarse, the faces gone — what remains is armor, horse, red. The figure holds on rhythm rather than detail.

The textbook painting is scattered into cells and reassembled: Vasnetsov from afar, mosaic up close. Beside them ride horsemen in Bilibin's manner, shield and red horse — two ways to tell the same epic.
