There is a film after which a red shoe stopped being footwear. Miranda Priestly, the editor who decides with a single glance what will be fashion this season; a magazine where a thing becomes a thing only once it has been named; and the first rule of that world — a thing is said in a single gesture. The series is named after the film and lives by its laws.
A red shoe on a white field is a sign, not an object. A pixel assembly where heel and toe are built in cells, as on a screen. Craquelure over the white — cracks that make a new thing old and expensive. A golden heel on blue — the only gold leaf in the whole work, and it is enough. No spare colour: red, white, blue, gold. That is how people dress who do not need to explain.
Relief on artboard, paint, craquelure ground, leaf gold on the heel, epoxy resin that gives the red a lacquered shine. The edition is numbered.
A series for a bedroom, a dressing room, a boutique, a salon, a boudoir. A work for those who know that a thing can be an argument.

Each work is built by hand at the st.Aura studio. The object's data is recorded in the series passport and the studio registry.
Editions
Every edition is closed: once exhausted, no further numbers are issued. Number and tier are recorded in the certificate of authenticity.
